To indulge people in Fitness activities, NTPC Farakka organized the Fit India Freedom Run on 2nd October 2022. Converging Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with Fit India, a plog run was organized in the Pubarun township, where residents picked up litter to clean their surroundings while jogging.

Shri Sanjiv Kumar, CGM, NTPC Farakka and Smt. Maya Singh, President, Udita Ladies Club were at the forefront of the run, followed by GM Maintenance, GM ADM, AGM HR , Commandant CISF and representatives of Union association.

The Fit India Freedom Run is yet another endeavor to strengthen the Fit Indian Movement and involve citizens to embrace fitness as a way of life. NTPC Farakka is observing the movement from 2nd Oct to 31st October, where a series of events will be organized for the campaign.
